TerraPlas is ideal for long-lasting coverage on even surfaces, such as football stadiums, ice rinks, or flat golf fields. The turf protection panels are perforated, allowing air, water, and light to permeate through the subsurface. Depending on weather conditions, they offer protection for up to seven days without damaging the underlying turf and soil.

PRODUCT FEATURES FOR TERRAPLAS

The square TerraPlas panels are 2 meters (79 inches) wide, 2 meters (79 inches) long, and 6 centimeters (3 inches) high. They consist of 4 individual elements and weigh approximately 50 kilograms (110.23 pounds). Made of hardened and UV-stabilized polyethylene, these panels are permeable to light and air, ensuring optimal lawn supply even when covered for a long time.

Product Description

In addition, the translucent white panels feature a non-slip surface with gray anti-slip strips for a secure hold for all event participants. We supply this flooring, especially suitable for rectangle surfaces, on special pallets, each equipped with 20 panels.

Rounded corners available

The turf protection system is comparatively costly in terms of transport. Please note that cutting the panels to size for ice rinks with rounded corners may incur an extra charge due to transport costs. We can also provide transportation, construction, breakdown, and final cleaning services upon request.

Optional Extras

As a system extension, we offer special ramps in safety colors for safe and barrier-free access. These visually striking ramps are 5 meters (16.40 feet) long and can be inserted into the installed surface as expansion joints. They are also compatible with transitioning to a ground protection system constructed with Arena Panels.

Maximum Comfort

You can also combine the TerraPlas system with other heavy-duty floors for use in stage areas. We offer PE foil and geotextile made of nonwoven fabric for additional protection. The high-quality TerraPlas system combines excellent turf protection properties with maximum comfort for event guests.

The anti-slip strips ensure reliable traction even in damp conditions, making the system suitable for various weather conditions. The built-in expansion joints compensate for panel expansion at high temperatures.

Please note that TerraPlas panels are designed for use on even surfaces only. To ensure that the locks between the panels remain intact, it is important to avoid excessive point loads. While transportation may be relatively cost-intensive, the investment is worthwhile as the high-quality panels offer the best possible and long-lasting protection for green areas.

Application Details

TerraPlas is ideal for use at festivals lasting several days. The individual turf protection mats can be used to set up safe paths in the backstage area, among other applications. The system is well-suited for high-traffic pedestrian areas and rolling-case transport paths. Pallets with construction material can be loaded onto lift trucks, or other items can be transported in mobile transport boxes or cases.

Substructure for Stages and Grandstands

With lower point loads, the pedestrian event flooring can also serve as a ventilating substructure for stage and grandstand systems or similar structures. The specially engineered interlocking panels ensure a completely even surface, free of trip hazards. Thanks to its anti-slip properties, TerraPlas creates a safe event floor.
